GLAM MEDIA ANNOUNCE RAFT OF SENIOR HIRES

London, UK — February 25, 2011 — Glam Media, the leading vertical media company with the #1 global reach for women online, today announced the expansion of its senior creative services team in the UK with three new appointments. Tony Mehmet joins as head of advertising operations, Sam Peliza is appointed project manager and Aicha Srour takes up the position of sales manager.

Mehmet is responsible for leading advertising operations. With over ten years of advertising operations experience, Mehmet will oversee pre and post sales delivery, planning, product innovation and traffic management. Mehmet joins Glam Media from Ebookers, where he was head of advertising operations for Europe. Prior to this he spent seven years at News International most recently as advertising traffic manager, responsible for The Sun and The Times amongst other titles.

Following her appointment as project manager, Peliza will provide vital support to the company as it continues to grow. Responsible for Glam Media’s key portfolio of clients, Peliza will manage the large creative advertising solutions. Prior to her appointment, Peliza worked at IDS as an ad-sales project manager where her focus was on setting up commercial and ad-sales creative solutions.

Srour joins Glam Media’s expanding sales team as sales manager, responsible for the management of all the main London media agencies, driving revenue out of the key buying groups. Srour joins the team after seven years at ValueClick, where as International Sales Group Head, she spent the last 18 months identifying and generating international revenue streams for the company.

Last year, Glam Media launched an International sales division, located out of London, to develop multi-country online campaigns for luxury and premium advertisers. Isabelle Sommet and Candace Droz were appointed as its Co-Directors.
