Jane Loring, Managing Director
Loring is responsible for managing the Glam Media UK organization including Sales, Publishers/Editorial, Marketing and Ad Operations. A digital sales veteran, Loring was most recently Director of Specialist Sales at Microsoft Advertising one of the leading digital teams in the UK. Under Loring’s watch MSN was nominated for Media Week Sales Team of the Year. Her focused expertise on Women in Digital began at handbag.com where she was responsible for commercial strategy and driving revenue to profitability that ultimately led to the sale of the company. Prior to that, Loring spent ten years at IBM technology sales before entering the digital space.
Malcolm Attwells, Commercial Director
Attwells joins the UK team from Warner Bros, where he was Director of Media Strategy for the International Television Division for the last three years. As Commercial Director, Malcolm will manage the UK sales team and is responsible for optimising revenue opportunities for Glam UK. He will also be building on relationships with major media agencies and partners and working on new product launches incorporating audience insight, branding, video and mobile. Previous to this, Malcolm held several positions at MSN UK, including UK Group Head of Category Management and spent over 10 years running PBL Media in Sydney.
Lisa Myers, Head of Creative Solutions
Myers brings more than 10 years of media experience to Glam. She began her career in press, working for three years at IPC Media, for the Ignite! portfolio, winning Senior Sales Person of the Year in 2002. She also worked at Future Publishing on the Central Agency Team, and News International, working in Creative Solutions across print and online. Lisa moved to Glam Media three years ago to take up the position of Creative Solutions Manager before being promoted to Head of Creative Solutions in early 2011.
Ally Pyle, Director of Editorial and Community, Glam Media UK
Pyle has been the editor of the Glam UK site since it launched in August 2008, joining the team from Condé Nast Online. Under her direction, Glam.co.uk dishes daily fashion, beauty and lifestyle news pieces, trend reports and covers everything from fashion must-haves to the New York, London, Milan and Paris runway shows. A beauty and travel junkie, Pyle and her team find a wide breadth of products, fitness diaries and spa treatments as well as hotel reviews here and abroad. She also manages editorial for Babyworld.co.uk our newest owned and operated site with a focus on children from 0-5 years with more than 200,000 monthly users. Prior to working at Glam, Pyle worked across the online titles Vogue.com, GQ.com, CNTraveller.com and Glamour.com as well as contributing to British Vogue and NYLON in New York.
